A follow-up on my last post...
The disciples on the road to Emmaus were given the same choice as Adam and Eve. The same choice we are given everyday. Do we desire knowledge about God or a relationship with God. Adam and Eve chose knowledge. The disciples desired more and even though Jesus had shown them many things from the scriptures, they compelled him to stay. This is when he sat with them, broke the bread, blessed it, and revealed himself.
I pray to make this decision every minute of every day.
